We use cookies to try and give you a better experience in Freshdesk.
You can learn more about what kind of cookies we use, why, and how from our Privacy policy. If you hate cookies, or are just on a diet, you can disable them altogether too. Just note that the Freshdesk service is pretty big on some cookies (we love the choco-chip ones), and some portions of Freshdesk may not work properly if you disable cookies.
We’ll also assume you agree to the way we use cookies and are ok with it as described in our Privacy policy, unless you choose to disable them altogether through your browser.
For newcomers or first-timers to the site, it appears as though they do not have the option to respond to any of our opportunities. The WAIVER NEEDED button is in the top right corner of the screen, but it is not clear that they must take the step of signing the waiver (which we require for all opportunities) in order to respond. It would be helpful if the WAIVER NEEDED button appeared not only in the top right corner but also in the respond column that is currently blank with no button to click.
Thank you!

Hi Katie,
I have added this additional comment to this existing request. In the meantime, something we offer to help with this is a bulk qualification status update service, otherwise known as a qualification import. Our Development team can update all of the imported user statuses for the volunteer waiver to approved (this would also add a placeholder for the waiver file itself to fulfill that requirement). This does come with a service fee of $75 for the hour -- if this is something you would like to purchase, feel free to reach out to support in a new email to start that process.
In the meantime, if your managers or staff are utilizing the Scheduling tool, while they are adding folks to a shift the table does show an alert for those who may be missing a qualification:
I hope this helps!

Hope this can be added to future updates. The waiver/qualification is something that almost all of our volunteers struggle to complete since most of our users were transfered over from our last platform. The only way we have them get through this is by linking a how-to guide that we created. I suggest making it more clear on the users end that a waiver needs to be signed would be so helpful along with the response of that user in the shift they are signed up for- some of our volunteers are entered into shifts by our staff, which bypasses the waiver. See attached for my idea

Hey Anna,
Thanks for taking the time to post, and for sending the screenshot!
We unfortunately don't have the ability to make an on-the-fly change here, but what I'll do is send this suggestion over to our development team so they can have your comments in mind as they consider what updates to make in future versions of the software. Any changes that we make have to go through our extensive development and QA process just to make sure that we're not accidentally introducing any potential bugs to the system, so they'll have to take it from here. That being said, they're always on the lookout for this kind of direct feedback from customers about how volunteers are using the site, so this is really useful for them to hear.
Thanks!
Dave
