This product suggestions recommends adding the volunteer's first and last name to a survey's exported file. The file currently contains the survey date, USER_ID, and answers to survey questions.
The use case for this is quite simple. As part of the re-opening process, the state has asked all businesses and organizations to have their employees and volunteers self-certify their health related to COVID-19 prior to every work day and shift. We plan to use Connect for this purpose. The Volunteer Coordinator at the job site will need to verify that every person volunteering that day has completed their survey. Verification will be done using the exported file. It is easier for them to look up the volunteers name in the report than learn their internal USER_ID.

Hi John,
I hope you have been well! I have some good news - we've recently added the First and Last Names of users to the survey export.
We appreciate you bringing this up here, in our forums, and hope this helps with your overall workflow moving forward.
Have a great day,

Hi Shonie,
Thanks for considering the problem. There are several reasons why qualifications won't work for us:
1. A number of our volunteers work multiple days per week and the COVID-19 Self-Certification is required before each shift.
2. We need to keep a record of our volunteer's self-certifications. The exported file of survey results show all the surveys taken over time by the volunteer. Qualifications does not provide that feature
3. Even without the first two issues, we find surveys are just simpler to implement and easier for the volunteers to respond to on a regular basis.

Hi John,
I wanted to circle back to your forum post! There is an update we just added to the software that may help you accomplish your goal using a different tool.
As you know, our qualifications feature has various duration types you can choose from. We've recently added the "1 week" and "2 week" options to help with the COVID checks various organizations are having to do.
We hope that this may help in some capacity with your volunteer checks! By using this tool, you'll be able to attach a qualification to inidividual or all opportunities. Users will be reminded about expiring qualifications and will need to get re-qualified to respond if the week has passed.
Since these are attached to a user, you will be able to view this list more easily within the Manager Panel > Volunteerism > Qualification tab.
Thanks!
Warmly,
Shonie

Hi John,
Thanks so much for bringing this to our attention and laying out the use case for it! I will record this for our enhancements board for our development team to review.
"Include additional data columns for user's first and last names within the survey export to make it easier for managers to verify their volunteers."
