It would be nice to be able to pull up a list of volunteers and "select" them individually to create a group of people to either add tags, or email , etc. Instead of having to use the filter system or by having to look them up individually.
For example, I recently created a volunteer BINGO . There was no one filter or subset of filters I could create once I was notified of the 68 people willing to participate. I had to individually look up all 68 volunteers and add a tag to their profile so that I could then create a filter based on that tag for communication purposes.. It was very tedious and time consuming.

Good morning Christopher,
Thank you for voicing your support for this feature! It sounds like having individual checkmarks by each user name to allow for custom bulk actions would be useful to a lot off different clients, and I agree it has a lot of utility if we're able to make this happen! I'll add your use case to our enhancement notes for a discussion at a future meeting.
Cheers!

I agree that a checkbox select would be extremely helpful. We have a group of several hundred volunteers that we need to tag for some of our donor reports, which cannot be isolated using the current features of the User Filter. A checkbox process would save time in adding the tag to each user that needs it.

Hi Grace,
Thank you for taking the time to add your voice to this suggestion! I can definitely understand how a checkbox select could be useful based on your use case. I've included your feedback here for our developers to consider further!
All the best,
Caitlin

Jumping in to second this request!
We currently have volunteers who take on a variety of roles at our mobile food distributions, but it hasn't made sense for us to create separate shifts for each role as the number of people we need on each station varies throughout the distribution. However, I'd love to be able to filter in the user section of the volunteerism tab for everyone who attended a particular distribution, and then click a box next to the people who helped with client check-in. I would then add the "check-in trained" tag to their profiles in case I needed to reach out to folks who have helped with check-in for a future distribution. Currently, the only way I can think to do this is pull up a list of everyone who attended the distribution and then go to the profile of each person who helped with check-in and give them the tag individually. Being able to select some but not all of the volunteers from a certain filter via check boxes or some other selection tool would be so helpful!
Thanks!

You got it 100% . That would be awesome. Just like some other bulk selections within the site.
thanks

Hi Andrew,
Thank you so much for your suggestion! It sounds like it would be best to have an additional way to select volunteers outside of the User Filter. Maybe include a check box next to each individual's name so that you can do bulk actions for selected users, similar to Opportunities. Does that sound right, or am I missing the mark?
Thank you!
