Hi all,
I would like to be able to see stats for our custom pages. Could we count hits to each page? This would help us know whether the pages are effective or not.
Thanks,
Cody

Hi Cody,
Anytime, and thank you for your response as well as for the clarification of your desires here. I have added ‘the addition of the view count of each site’s custom pages to each site’s appropriate canned reports’ to our list of product suggestions, and will make sure to discuss this potential change with the rest of the team.
Have a great day!
All the best,

Hi Cirũ,
Thanks for this response. I will look into Google Analytics from our end as I have little interaction there.
All I was hoping for was a view count on the custom pages. Program Managers can see how many profile page views their program has, and I think something similar for custom pages would be great.
Best,
Cody

Hi Cody,
Thank you so much for this suggestion! Before I add this to our product suggestions list for review, could you please tell me how you would define a page “hit”? I see that your site currently has Google Analytics in place, and a “hit” within Google Analytics consists of any interaction that results in data being sent to Analytics. When you say that you would like statistics on the hits of each custom page, do you mean that you would like statistics on your custom pages’ activity from our web server’s perspective (where each file, such as each image and graphic, from a custom page sent to a browser by our web server is considered a hit)? Or are you more so looking for total and/or unique pageviews?
Typically, we usually suggest using Google Analytics for deeper page view information, since they do a really good job of this and exceed any data analytics we could build ourselves. However, I can see you are already using this feature!
Any clarity to this request in the context of a software enhancement, addition, or update will help me to understand what you’re looking for and have the best information for presenting your idea to the team.
I’ll be looking forward to your response and additional insights!
