Add the ability to search by the user's name instead of just email address when utilizing "QUICK ADD USERS AND HOURS"

When using the "QUICK ADD USERS AND HOURS" it requires an email address instead of the name or email option that "ADD HOURS" gives. From what I have found, this is the only way to add hours for someone that did not respond to an ongoing (private) opportunity. And we don't allow our volunteers to add their own hours since we work with court-ordered community service workers.

We will sometimes have regular volunteers work with our construction team on shifts that are not offered to the public. I have an ongoing shift set up (FOR MANAGER USE ONLY - CONSTRUCTION) for these instances. If a user has not had hours added for that opportunity (and since I do not have it public for users to sign up themselves) I use the "QUICK ADD USERS AND HOURS" button to add those volunteer hours.

It adds extra steps when I have to go search the username for their email address (when if they already have a profile it should pop up as it does for "ADD AN HOUR ENTRY"). It would make things easier and save time for it to auto-populate if they already have an account when you search for their name.

Hi everyone,

Good news! You can now search for volunteers by name as well as email address when using the quick add hours tool:

Hi everyone,

Thanks so much for bringing this to our attention and giving us more background as to why this would be helpful to not only you, but all of our site admins.

I have added this to our enhancements notes as follows:

"The ability to search by the user's name (in addition to their email address) when using the Quick Add Users and Hours tool in Volunteerism > Hours."

Thanks again, and have a great holiday weekend,

This idea would save so much time. I work with a lot of people that struggle with technology. They are volunteering without responding to the need. I have to go in and add their responses/hours. Having to look up their user information in order to use the Quick Add Users and Hours feature is more of a hassle than its worth.
