You can learn more about what kind of cookies we use, why, and how from our Privacy policy. If you hate cookies, or are just on a diet, you can disable them altogether too. Just note that the Freshdesk service is pretty big on some cookies (we love the choco-chip ones), and some portions of Freshdesk may not work properly if you disable cookies.
We’ll also assume you agree to the way we use cookies and are ok with it as described in our Privacy policy, unless you choose to disable them altogether through your browser.
We have had instances of volunteers intentionally or unintentionally checking in to a mission shift a day or hours before the mission is set to begin. While auditing hours, which is a pain to begin with, we find this happening as well as duplicate check ins via the app and the kiosk. It would be nice also for the duplicate to be blocked as a rule within the system. The latter instance happens all of the time and preventing this in a busy circumstance is fairly impossible.
Thanks

Hi Judy, thanks for sharing your thoughts here! One way to address this might be to have a site setting that disallows duplicate hours. If this setting were turned on it would make it so that each response on the site could only have one hours entry logged, and if someone tried to log another, they would be presented with an error message telling them that they have already logged hours for that shift/need.
Would that address the main issue here? Let me know what you think!
