Check Box for Opportunity Shifts

When there is an opportunity that has multiple shifts, and a volunteer clicks "sign up as an individual", they are taken to a page that shows them all the shifts available for that opportunity. Next to each shift is a little box - it is grayed out, and has a faded check mark in it. When the box is actually checked, the box is no longer grayed out, and the check mark becomes blue. However, because the unchecked version has a faded check mark, some volunteers have thought that it was already checked, and that they were signing up for those shifts.

It would be nice if the unchecked version of that box did not have a faded check mark, and instead was just grayed out or blank!

Hi all,

Adding in my two cents:

A volunteer who uses our system has his own computer settings on high contrast, so the checks (faded or not) look the same to him. I think this is probably a pretty rare occurrence, but if the suggestion above is implemented it will help with this issue as well.

Thanks,

Hi Melissa,

Thanks so much for following up to our ticket conversation and adding this here for us to review! I have added your thoughts to our notes as follows:

"Update the user shift response form's checkbox design for clarity. Currently, the unselected boxes are greyed out with a checkmark, which can confuse users into thinking they previously checked those shifts."

Thanks again,
