We use initiatives (which we have renamed "Outreach Events") to identify specific serving events and we group Opportunities under those. Our teams across the country may add an outreach event into their serving schedule and they can create opportunities, but they can't actually create the Initiative in the software. For us, this is a high priority need.

Hi Paul and good afternoon,
I hope you’re doing well, and thank you for the explanation! I can definitely see how it’d be helpful for City/Agency Managers to be able to create initiatives in this case. I’ve added “Agency/City managers be given the ability to create initiatives” to our list of product suggestions. I’ll make sure to discuss this with the rest of our team.
Thanks again for adding your suggestion, and I hope you have a great day!

Thank you for getting back to me!
We use initiatives as “Outreach Events” in our application. So each city has “Outreach Events” and then under those would be the various Opportunities. Each city has their own unique “Outreach Events” so as the new Outreach Events get added and/or changed, the local managers in each of our cities would be the ones to manage and update that. Adding me to the mix to do that is unnecessarily burdensome and time consuming.
There wouldn’t be the option of duplicating Outreach Events because each one is unique to its city.

Hi Paul and good afternoon,
I hope you’re doing well, and thank you so much for adding this suggestion! City/Agency Managers cannot currently create initiatives because currently there would be no way to stop them from creating duplicate initiatives. Additionally, there is currently not a way to streamline the initiatives that a City/Agency Manager would create. However, I’d still be happy to discuss your suggestion with the rest of the team! Before I do, could you please tell me a bit more about why it is important that the City/Agency Managers within your site are able to create initiatives, as well as what goals allowing them to do so will help accomplish? After I know this, I’ll be able to make sure I’m conveying your needs here correctly!
I really appreciate you taking the time to add your suggestion, and I hope you have a great day!
