Simplify Check in Kiosk

Hi all,

We use the check in kiosk at our site and often have 50-100+ volunteers who need to check in to a given shift. Is there a reason they have to click "check in" 2x? The first time the check in button is a small rectangle on the right hand side, and then they have to press an oval check in button again on the bottom left. This is not ideal for our technology challenged volunteers and seems tedious to have to check in twice. They are often missing the second "check in" button and clicking "return to start" instead.

The general layout of the multiple check in buttons and return to start button confuses a lot if people and seems unnecessary.

Hi Liz,

Thank you for taking the time to reach out with your suggestion! I appreciate your situation with the many volunteers that you have and would be glad to share some information. The kiosk is currently designed to include the second check in button as this page shows confirmation of the selected shift and also includes any associated response questions that are needed to be answered prior to confirmation.

I will be happy to add this suggestion to our existing request notes and will be sure to include your thoughts relating to the design being difficult for certain volunteers to use accurately. We will bring up this suggestion for discussion in a future team meeting and I will provide more updates as they are available.

Thanks again and have a great day!

With gratitude,
