It would be great to have a two-way messaging feature for agency managers with volunteers that have responded to their 'need'. If an agency manager sends an email through the responded email feature it doesn't show who sent that message, contact info, and agency managers may miss important details.
A two-way message feature could help volunteers to ask clarifying questions or even initiate a conversation.
Related but separate question- How can I as the Site Manager see what emails have been sent using GetConnected by agency managers?

Thank you for adding this to the forum! I've gone ahead and recorded this for future enhancement considerations.
For your separate question, there currently isn't a way for a site manager to see what emails an agency sent to a volunteer unless the site manager knew which volunteer's profile to look at to see the message from the agency under Messages or Emails. However, I'm going to contact you via support ticket because I'd like to learn more about how this functionality could be helpful to your organization.
