Has galaxy digital thought of mistake proofing the set up of "HAPPENS ON" needs to include a mandatory start and end time, rather than an optional description.
When you run a report in 'export shifts' the report shows the start time of 0:00 and end time of 23:59.

Hello Brenda,
Thank you for posting here on our forum.
In such situations, I would highly recommend using Shifted Opportunities to Happens On.
For Happens On, the entire day is considered to be a part of the opportunity, so the time frame captured is from 12am midnight to 11:59pm that evening.
However, Shifted opportunities are specifically made and built around a set time frame, rather than capturing the whole day.
Accordingly, using a shifted opportunity will ensure that, when exported, the time frame will match to your settings comparatively to capturing the whole day and holding the specific information in the description.
You can find more information on our Opportunity types in this article. Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns!
All the best,
