It would be awesome if there was a place where I can make notes for an individual shift that only the volunteers scheduled for that shift could see - and most importantly have the note included in their automated opportunity reminders. I know I can send a message as I schedule the volunteer, but I don't want to send the information too far in advance. We have volunteer drivers who need addresses/names/mobility information about their riders and I currently schedule an email with the information to go to the volunteer a couple days before the trip. If I could input it as I create a shift instead, that's once less step I need to worry about.

Hi, Mildred!
Thank you for sharing your product suggestion! I can see how this would be an efficient way to share that information with volunteers.
While this is not a shifted way to provide information to volunteers, there is a way to add notes for volunteers to receive within an opportunity response. Adding a Need Comment into the Comment field of a need will be the best way to send private information to volunteers after they respond to a need. To do this, you'd add the address/names within the Comment area of the need, and then also add the Need Comment field within the Need Response -Thank You notification and the Upcoming Need Reminder notification. If every shift has a different address, this may not be the correct fit, but I wanted to suggest this so you are aware there are ways within an opportunity itself.
I'll go ahead and add this to our suggestion forum so the development team can review during an upcoming enhancement meeting.
Have a great week!
