Do you think it would be possible to allow the agency managers to see who the volunteer selected as the person to approve their hours and their email address so we could send them an email individually for pending individual hours? And with their approval, so the managers could just approve the hours with the approval of the person contacted for them. It would be adding an extra step but that seems less complicated.
Although, I would rather see the person who the volunteer wants to approve their hours receive an email about approving the volunteers individual hours and doing it themselves.
Example of the email with extra step:
Hello [First Name,Last Name of person to approve hours],
One of your volunteers, [First Name, Last Name of volunteer], had logged [X amount of] hours onto our site, GetConnected. GetConnected allows volunteers to track their volunteer hours, build their volunteer resume, and find needs (volunteer opportunities). If you want more information on the site please call or email [this number] and [this email]. [Volunteer First Name, Last Name] has selected you to approve that they volunteered for [X] hours on this date [mm/dd/yyyy]. Will you approve or decline their hours? If you declined, was it because it was the wrong date or the wrong amount of hours volunteered? Thank you for taking your time to help a volunteer track their hours!

Hi, Samantha,
Thanks for your suggestion. I'm going to write up an enhancement request for a notification to go to the contact person for the individual hours. At this point, it would work best for them to contact the site manager and have the site manager approve the hours, since the contact person may or may not already be a member of the site. The notification itself can include information about joining the site and setting up an agency account if they wish to do that.
Thanks!
Best,
Nina
