We use cookies to try and give you a better experience in Freshdesk.
You can learn more about what kind of cookies we use, why, and how from our Privacy policy. If you hate cookies, or are just on a diet, you can disable them altogether too. Just note that the Freshdesk service is pretty big on some cookies (we love the choco-chip ones), and some portions of Freshdesk may not work properly if you disable cookies.
We’ll also assume you agree to the way we use cookies and are ok with it as described in our Privacy policy, unless you choose to disable them altogether through your browser.
This is helpful on occasions and especially for larger events (MLK Day) when a team arrived to a site where they may not have been registered for.

This enhancement request has not been selected for the next build. If more site managers express a need to be able to add teams to expired needs, please comment or vote for this item. Thanks!

Hi, Jenny,
We are currently working to improve our check-in feature to allow for team check-ins. If the check-in feature is being used, new volunteers can respond as teams to the need on site, and then check in accordingly.
When you go to create a team from your site manager panel, you can only add them to active, current needs. In my next meeting with the enhancement team, I'll bring up the idea of including expired needs in that list.
Thanks for your feedback!
Nina
