Language Override in the pop-up asking Volunteers to SIGN UP or LOG IN

Hello,

I feel that this pop-up leaves something to be desired. The headline at the top says "Create an account or log in" but then the clickable options are "Sign Up" or "Log In." I suggest a language override for "Sign Up." It would be ideal to have it say "Create Account" instead.

For volunteers who used our previous system, they never needed to create an account in order to sign up to volunteer. I feel the option to "Sign up" is confusing because they are already attempting to sign up for the opportunity.

I think this small changes would prevent confusion for our volunteers and shepherd them through the steps better. Thanks for considering!

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to circle back here and add what Holly and I spoke about in a ticket.

She's let me know that this is what she was going for, and that her main point was to, "emphasize is that Sign Up might not make sense to volunteers coming from our old system because they used to "sign up" for shifts."

This has been logged on our enhancements board for review.

Thanks again,

Hi Holly,

I believe you are referring to this pop up a user gets when they try to respond to an opportunity while they are not signed in, correct?

I've never thought about this language inconsistency and find it interesting for our team to review. I will add this to our enhancements review board as follows:

"The addition of the phrase "Sign up" on the available language override options." -- I will also include this screen grab, so we can reflect on the way this pop up is worded specifically.

Let me know if I need to expand on this or if I am missing anything! Thanks!

Best,
