In the opportunities list, add the # of remaining spots available to the opportunity snapshot tile. It could show # remaining and the total spots. Like, "5 out of 20 spots remaining." This would be helpful at-a-glance info for volunteers (especially groups) without having to apply a filter.

Hi Emily,
That's an interesting suggestion! I'll definitely pass this along to our UX designer as well as document it as a requested change for Development to consider in the future.
Thanks for sharing your creativity with us!

Good point, I hadn't thought about opportunities with shifts. What if shifted opportunities displayed something like "see shifts for # of available slots" and opportunities w/o shifts displayed # of available slots out of total? There's probably a better way to word it, but essentially a different message for shifted opportunities and non-shifted.

Hi Emily!
We used to display the number of open shifts on the opportunity tile but many clients and their volunteers found it confusing for shifted opportunities. We ended up with opportunities that had 30 different shifts listed with a capacity of 20 people per shift which resulted in the open slots number being 600. The available slots for each shift could be different so there isn't a succinct way to display the correct number. This one is definitely a rock and a hard place! If you have a good solution to how to display this that we haven't though of yet, please do share it! We agree it would be helpful information for a volunteer to have but don't see an easy/good way to communicate it.
Warmly,
Ali
