We use custom shifts for one of our needs that is posted year round. I would like to suggest the ability to archive or hide old shifts so that program/site managers and potential volunteers do not have to scroll through the old shifts in order to find the most recent date/month. We do not want to delete the shifts because it will delete the hours accrued by the volunteers for that shift.

Hi Millie and Allison,
I appreciate both of you adding your thoughts here and expanding on the issue. We recently pushed an update to this overlay to only show users their expired shifts they previously responded to. Any shifts they were not associated with that have expired no longer show in this response window.
We opted to keep their past shifts shown in this overlay because users are able to revisit this area to manage their responses.
This update should shorten the list immensely and we hope it will make it easier for your users to navigate.
Please let me know if you have any questions about this change!
Thanks again,
Shonie

I agree this would be extremely helpful. We post recurring shifts for our needs, and the list of 'expired shifts' is growing, and doesn't add any benefit to the volunteer to see those past dates when they're signing up for some of their own shifts.

Hi Shonie,
I'm referring to the page where volunteers can sign up for shifts under a certain need. If they want to respond to multiple shifts which tends to happen a lot with this particular volunteer need, they have to scroll all the way to the bottom of the page to find the most recent date and time. On the initial page to sign up for a shift, it does show the most recent. Also as the manager, when I am adding custom shifts, I have to scroll through all the shifts I have ever posted to double check that I have input all the correct dates and times.
Hope this makes sense! Let me know if you have anymore questions.

Hi Millie,
Thanks for writing your thoughts in our forums! Can you tell me more about the area expired shifts are still showing that is a pain point for your users and/or managers? Are you referring to the Track Hours area or otherwise?
I want to make sure I'm getting all the details right in this request, thanks!
Warmly,
Shonie
