Is there a way for a volunteer to unsubscribe from the daily reminder emails but still receive email blasts?

Hi everyone,


We have great news! In our recent software update, we have expanded on how users an manage their email notification preferences. Although they will still receive emails about all needs under their agency, we hope this helps meet your needs here partially.


This is something they can edit and get more granular on in their Profile Icon > Edit Profile area under the Data and Communication Settings section:

Hi Jennie, 


Thanks for connecting with us on your suggestion to allow volunteers to unsubscribe from daily notifications, while still receiving email blasts. At this time, if a volunteer unsubscribes from their GetConnected notifications, they do not have the ability to opt out of certain types of messages and not others. They will no longer receive any direct email notifications or messages through the platform, other than the password reset email. 


The good news is, emails sent from site managers (whether as email blasts or automated notifications) are automatically copied to the volunteer's in-app messaging inbox and they can view the message by going to their profile and clicking inbox.


I’m happy to add the suggestion for volunteers to unsubscribe from specific notifications to our list of requested product enhancements! As a follow-up question, the notification a volunteer receives varies depending on their interactions with the site, are there any particular notifications you are thinking of in regards to daily notifications?
