We use cookies to try and give you a better experience in Freshdesk.
You can learn more about what kind of cookies we use, why, and how from our Privacy policy. If you hate cookies, or are just on a diet, you can disable them altogether too. Just note that the Freshdesk service is pretty big on some cookies (we love the choco-chip ones), and some portions of Freshdesk may not work properly if you disable cookies.
We’ll also assume you agree to the way we use cookies and are ok with it as described in our Privacy policy, unless you choose to disable them altogether through your browser.
I am excited that Outlook has been added as an option for the calendar invite download. However, the download generates an All-Day invite and does not block the event times on the calendar. In our organization, and I am sure most others, staff time is tied directly to their calendars, and all-day invites are not registered as busy when checking availability of colleagues.
The addition of the option is helpful, but still requires staff to open the invite and edit it. I think this enhancement will be widely appreciated.
Looking forward to hearing an update on this potential enhancement.

Hi Angela,
I appreciate your feedback on this! We've made a note about this on my end to review with the team, as we can see how this can be an extra step for folks.
Thanks again,
