Decentralize qualifications and assign qualifications to agencies only!

Hello Galaxy Digital,

I would like to suggest the following for enhancements.

1.) Currently Qualifications such as fillable waivers and training experience is created and managed by us, the site managers. This makes site managers the middle man, which is lengthy and confusing when trying to verify eligibility of a volunteer for each agency and uploading each agencies specific documents. I am requesting that agencies have the ability to upload fillable waivers, training requirements and approve/verify those qualifications themselves without having to go through site managers each time. This would drastically improve the efficiency of agencies ability to find skilled volunteers and reduce confusion of which volunteers meet certain requirements.

2.) Additionally, I am asking that the restrictions that can be applied to volunteers who want to create an account on Axe of Service be applied to agency registration instead. We have ran into some organizations who have created an account on Axe of Service who are not non-profits. We have to manually reach out to each one and wait for their response in order to decline their account request. If we had a way to ask agencies during the registration process if they are a non-profit or governmental organization and provide proof, it would help greatly and reduce confusion amongst organizations.

In regards to this question; "Have your agencies tried using Click Wrap waivers?"

Yes I have tried suggesting it to our partner agencies and they do not like the clickwrap waiver because they need volunteers to actually sign or initial their name and fill out other information as opposed to just clicking an agreement box. It would be a game changer especially for our school district if they could attach a fillable waiver that volunteers can auto send to the appropriate agency and impose other qualification features without going through us each time.

For Agency registration, I can see the need for wanting to customize agency registration further. In the meantime, I'd suggest requiring the organization's EIN number, which you can require within the Agency Registration section of your site. This may cut down on the wrong types of volunteers/people applying as an agency.

I appreciate this suggestion. However, the EIN option does not work for us because it does not automatically filter the for profits from the non-profits. It merely gives us another means of looking them up and manually checking to see if they are a non-profit or government organization. Honestly, this product suggestion is not as pressing as the one above. My main focus is the decentralize qualifications suggestion.

Thank you for sharing your suggestions! I completely understand the desire for Agencies to have more ownership over their qualifications. I can see how it would save the Site Manager time. Have your agencies tried using Click Wrap waivers?
