Affirmative Privacy Policy
When users register for your site, they’ll be required to affirmatively accept Galaxy Digital’s privacy policy and can opt in or out of email messages there as well:
Things to keep in mind
We want to make sure you and your users have the best experience with your site, so here are a few things to keep in mind about opting out of email messages:
- We don’t recommend opting out of email messages, since they can include:
- Confirmations to Need responses
- Follow-ups
- Messages about changes made to Needs someone has responded to
- Reminders
- Agency managers in particular shouldn’t opt out of emails, since they’ll miss email notifications about responses to Needs they've posted.
- If a user opts out of emails, they’ll still be able to access in-app messages through their in-app messaging inbox.
- The opt-out setting doesn’t apply to the password reset email.
- If someone forgets their password and uses the password-reset feature, they’ll still receive an email with a link to reset their password.
