❖ Heads up! This article is intended for volunteers. If you're a site manager looking for information about creating benchmarks for your site, click here.
If a site awards badges for reaching certain benchmarks—like reaching 20 hours of volunteerism—then you receive an email with a shareable badge each time you reach those benchmarks! You can view your benchmarks from the View Profile area.
- These benchmarks appear as badges on your profile and volunteer resume. You can then share those achievements on social media or wherever!
- Here it is on the volunteer resume:
How to earn a badge
Each benchmark on your site requires that you submit a certain number of volunteer hours within a specified time frame. On some sites, your hours may require agency approval before they're considered for the benchmark. To earn a badge:
- Submit your volunteer hours promptly once you've completed the volunteer work.
- If you don't submit them within a month after the end of the benchmark's timeframe, you won't get the badge and the benchmark won't be added to your profile.
