You may have the chance to check in for a Need through a kiosk when you arrive for a scheduled shift. Here, we cover how to use the kiosk.
How to use the Check-in Kiosk 2.0
If you have any questions about using the Check-in Kiosk 2.0 when you arrive, be sure to locate one of the organizers for guidance. They set up and manage the kiosk and are your point of contact for any issues or questions when checking in.
1. Locate the Need you want to check in for in the kiosk.
2. Use this table to help determine which set of steps to follow next:

If you have a registered account on the site and have already submitted a response to this Need... | 1. Select the Need 2. Find your Name 3. Click This is me 4. Click Check in now |
If you have a registered account on the site but haven't submitted a response to this Need... | 1. Select the Need 2. Click Sign up 3. Enter the email you registered on the site with and click Sign up 4. Confirm your account details and click This is me 5. Click Check in now |
If you do not have a registered account on the site... | 1. Select the Need 2. Click Sign up 3. Enter a valid email address and click Sign up 4. Enter your First and Last Name and click Create account 5. Click Sign Up & Check in now |
You are now checked in for this Need! To check out:
1. Return to the kiosk and find the Need
2. Find your name and click Check Out
3. Click Check out now to finish
Your hours will be recorded on your account for this Need.

Why don't I see my Need in the kiosk?
The kiosk only displays the scheduled Needs for that day. If you don't see your Need listed and it's the scheduled day, please get in touch with the volunteer coordinator or other point of contact for help.
