❖ Heads up! This article is intended for site managers that have the disaster dashboard enabled on their site.
After the disaster passes, it's time to wrap things up. You can follow the steps in your disaster dashboard to wrap up after the disaster has passed.
Wrap up after a disaster in 3 steps
Step 1: Notify agency managers
The first step is to notify your agency managers that the disaster is passed and you're preparing to deactivate the disaster dashboard.
1. Go to your Disaster Dashboard.
2. Select the Disaster Wrap Up dropdown.
3. Under Step 1: Email your agencies, click Send a mass email to your agency managers.
4. This takes you to the email blast area where you can review the email and send it.

Step 2: Close disaster Needs
Now it's time to close those disaster Needs so volunteers aren't trying to respond to them. To learn more about closing Needs, click here.
1. Go to your Disaster Dashboard.
2. Select the Disaster Wrap Up dropdown.
3. Under Step 2: Close down your disaster needs, click Manage Needs.
- Now you can close those Needs to prevent new volunteer Need responses.
Step 3: Deactivate disaster dashboard
Once you've completed the other steps, you're ready to deactivate your disaster dashboard! But don't worry, you'll still have access to your reports for that disaster.
1. Go to your Disaster Dashboard.
2. Select the Disaster Wrap Up dropdown.
3. Under Step 3: Turn off your disaster dashboard, click Deactivate Disaster Dashboard.
Optional steps
Here are a few additional steps we recommend when deactivating your dashboard:
