Are you an organization looking for more ways to promote volunteer engagement, keep track of your volunteer impact, and manage your volunteers? You can do so by registering your organization, or "Agency", on an already established volunteer site!
Whether you heard about us from a friend or were invited by an organization, you can get started today by registering now! There are a couple of ways you can be registered on a site! You can be invited by the organization to register or you can request to join. Here we cover:
ⓘ So you know: Some sites have chosen to change the words on their site, or request "language overrides". You may see a site use Programs in place of Agencies and vice versa. This also applies to other areas of the site, for example, you may see Opportunities in place of Needs and vice versa. Please contact your site manager to discuss language overrides.
✅ Best practice: Already have a volunteer account on a site and want to request to register an agency? You can sign out of your account and follow the steps in Option 1 or Option 2 with your agency email to get started!
Registering your agency
Option 1
To get started:
1. Navigate to the volunteer site that you want to register your agency with.
2. Click the Click here to register your organization link under the Volunteer Now button.
3. Fill out the registration form. This form will request different information depending on the site that you are joining!
4. Click Request Account to finish!
ⓘ So you know: If the site uses language overrides, you may see a different statement under the Click here to register your organization link—e.g., Volunteer Asheville's sign up links says "Learn what Volunteer Asheville can do for you."
Option 2
Did you click the Sign Up button at the top of the page to get started? No worries! You can also register your agency from here!
1. Click Sign Up.
2. Select Click here beside Want to sign up your agency?
3. Fill out the registration form.
4. Click Request Account to finish!
ⓘ So you know:
- The email address you provide during registration is associated with the primary agency manager.
- You can always update who the primary agency manager is—click here for more information.
- By clicking Request Account, you confirm that you have read and agree to the site's terms and conditions.
- If the site has terms and conditions for agencies, then a link is provided on the sign-up screen.
- You should be taken to your agency manager page where you can start creating your agency's profile.
- If you weren't directed to that page, just click the Manage Agency button at the top of the screen.
