Adding Hours for Volunteers as an Agency Manager

Volunteers can, and are highly encouraged, to submit their own hours for the Needs they've participated in. However, there may be situations where you're asked to submit hours on behalf of the volunteer—which you can do right from the Time Tracking area of your Agency Manager dashboard! 

So you know: Wondering why you can't add hours for a particular volunteer? Check to see if they responded first. The volunteer must have a submitted Need response for the Need you're trying to add hours to. 


How to add hours for volunteers

To get started: 

1. Go to My Agency > Time Tracking

2. Scroll below the Volunteer Hours table to the hour submission form. 3. Use the Select a Need dropdown to select the Need you want to submit hours for. 

4. Use the Select a Volunteer dropdown to select the volunteer you want to submit hours for. 

  • If the volunteer already has hours submitted for the Need, a popup appears about those hours and asks you to confirm your selections.

So you know: The volunteer must have a submitted Need response for the Need you're trying to add hours to. 

5. Fill out the Hour Details section. 

6. Answer any required Hours Questions, as applicable. 

7. Click Submit Hour Entry when you're done! 

  • These hours appear in My Agency > Stats > Hours
    • Keep in mind that you may need to change the date range the stats are filtered for to see these hours.
